Adult Classes

"We nurture the life of each individual"

• Adult Bible study using our denomination's curriculum, "The Present Word"
• Adult discussion on current issues of interest and how our faith is related to the issues

On Sunday mornings at 9:30 we offer two adult classes:

One class studies the Bible using "The Present Word" which is published jointly by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, The Moravian Church in America (North and South), the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), and the United Church of Christ.

Another class studies current issues on any topic from the current financial crisis in America to the death penalty in America to "the church avoidance-growth dichotomy in our country." Materials are drawn from a large variety of resources and publications, and the conversation is always lively and stimulating. Reading materials are usually e-mailed or delivered to regular class attendees prior to Sunday morning in order to allow for more informed discussions.
